

How to Use the NFC Tools App
Write Info to Your NFC Chip in Minutes
Step 1: Download the App

Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

Search for "NFC Tools" by Wakdev

Install and open the app
Step 2: Choose “Write”

Tap the “Write” tab at the top of the screen

This is where you’ll add the action you want the chip to perform
Step 3: Add a Record

Tap “Add a record”

Choose the type of info you want to store (e.g., URL, text, contact, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Examples:

Website: Enter your full URL (like https://yourportfolio.com)

Text: Leave a short message or contact info

Contact Card: Add name, phone, email, etc.

Wi-Fi: Set up quick access for guests
Step 4: Write to the Chip

After adding your record, tap “Write”

Hold your NFC tag or keychain near the back of your phone

You’ll get a confirmation message when it’s successful
Step 5 (Optional): Test It

Lock your phone, then tap the NFC chip again
-
Your action (like opening a website) should trigger automatically
Tips:
-
Most Android phones support NFC. iPhones 7 and up can read NFC, but only iPhones XS and newer can write to them.

Make sure your NFC is turned on in settings.

NFC tags can be rewritten unless you choose to lock them permanently.
